Lewis Noble

Born 1967, London

Education - 1989-1992 BA (hons) Fine Art, Birmingham Margaret Street. (UCE)

"Although my paintings are very much images of the real, earthy landscape, I attempt to find a path between representational and expressive painting to convey a landscape that is still happening.

I try to make work which stands in for the landscape itself, not frozen moments but paintings which contain the time it took to make them."
